I was texting IrishDave earlier tonight - but "No Fun" down the street from Katz's Deli on Ludlow near Stanton might be an option. The owner is an Irish liverpool fan - was chatting with him for a while tonight and he's looking to install a projector and a few TVs to attract a football crowd. I'm not sure it'd have the capacity for the biggest games but it's worth checking out I reckon. If y'all agree I'll put you in touch with the owner. well he's laughed off the article, as I'm sure you've seen his tweets......so I dont expect him to be leaving anytime soon.

All the names that most likely have been talked about in this thread are most likely not happening.

As I said though, I believe there are other positions we should be looking to strengthen before LB.

If BAE went to United, I think we would all expect him to get much better. He's got the things that can't be trained: speed, endurance, and a strong boot. He's also got a naturally good cross and diagonal ball.
Positional awareness, decision making, and consistency could be trained/drilled into his head. I'm talking about reacting—not thinking. So are people suggesting we buy a new LB in the summer? When there are other positions that we are needing replacements in ASAP.

CB, ST- 2 of them, a back up winger who can play on the left or right when Bale/Lennon are injured, and a young keeper.

Perhaps a replacement for Modric if he goes?

There are so many other concerns right now than LB.

Benny has his flaws, he's not as inconsistent as he once was when he was giving away stupid penalties and his sudden lack of concentration moments but we'll find it hard to replace him with a LB who wont cost a fortune.

If Chelsea lose on Saturday then he can't go there for anything other than the money. I don't believe Man City will be interested and he probably wouldn't play every week which leaves Man Ure.
